Llanddwyn Dreams Original

This painting was inspired by my many visits to Newborough Forest and Llanddwyn Island.  I dreamt I was there one night, the night sky full of colour and light and this is what I saw. I could hardly contain myself to get to my studio the next day so I didn’t forget the image I’d dreamt of. Its a landscape of shear magic for me, full of history, myth and legends. Its a calm stillness set amongst natures wilds, a landscape that cannot fail to evoke a deep sense of awe and reflection.  Pure magic.
